Live Right Anyway! (2 Thessalonians 3:13)

Sometimes Christians do what is right, only to be rejected or treated unfairly. If this makes them discouraged or causes them to want to retaliate, it can destroy their peace and ruin their testimony. But the Lord wants us to keep on doing what is right – persevering in His strength. That’s why the Bible urges us not to be “weary in doing good.”

People can be unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered;
Love them anyway.
If you do good, some will accuse you of selfish motives;
Do good anyway.
If you succeed, you may win false friends and true enemies;
Succeed anyway.
The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow;
Do good anyway.
Honesty and frankness make you vulnerable;
Be honest anyway.
What takes years to build may be destroyed overnight;
Build well anyway.
Sinners don’t always want to hear the gospel;
Witness lovingly anyway!

Applying these rules of “well-doing” in our lives will make us better, move victorious Christians. – Henry G. Bosch

Against all odds go serve today,
This so the Lord’s command;
Behind the lines or in the fray,
In His own strength you stand. – C. K. Hess

The world crowns success, but God crowns faithfulness.
